Best crossbow dark souls 24/20/2023 Now, every multiplayer covenant is a bit different with progression: Success rewards you with a Pharros lockstone and a rat tail. You equip the Crest of the Rat, go to either of the areas right before the bonfire before the rat bosses, and non-covenant members that enter might be warped to your world and you have to defeat them before they reach the end. You can either farm these from rats (check the wiki for more in that), or by killing people that trespass in the Rat King areas. In regards to which covenant is the "best" one, the answer is whichever one aligns with your character, gives things for your build, or is progressed in a way you find enjoyable.Īs for how to increase rank with our liege the Rat King, you have to collect rat tails and give them to him. Aren't I supposed to get invaded like what happens with the phantoms? And can't I summon players to help with bosses/ tough areas and to trade? Sorry if I'm not making any sense lol, I'm new and I don't really know much about the game mechanics, only a little bit about the lore, any help would be appreciated ^ I heard that there are also rewards for progressing in a covenant, so based on my play style, which covenant should I join? How do I join it? And how do I progress through it? I also don't really get the online interactions part. But I was wondering, which convent is the best one? I'm playing a knight/battlemage (greatsword, shield, crossbow, king's set, staff/pyromancy), and have joined the rat king's covenant because I just feel bad for him lol, but I still haven't done anything for him yet because I don't really know what to do. I don't have any of the dlcs yet, but I finished the game, and now I'm grinding to further strengthen my gear. I'm playing on the original version of DS2 on PS3.
